Gamers all across the world enjoy using Ceri Design gaming mats

Ceri Design is a small business that was set up in 2013 but since then we have transformed into a successful brand which enjoys having customers and game groups using our products all over the world.

We started by designing and manufacturing sports jerseys for gamers, but things changed when Fantasy Flight Games released the X-Wing miniatures game.

We fell in love with the game and started making space mats for our own use. After receiving positive comments from fellow gamers we decided to start designing and manufacturing a variety of gaming mats for online sale. We have had a number of successful Kickstarter campaigns that have helped us develop our online store and products, and we continue to grow and improve our service.

We're more than happy to have a chat with you about any of our products and other services we may be able to offer you. Feel free to get in touch anytime.

Thank you for your custom and support and we really hope you enjoy using our products.

Your fellow gamer,

Ceri James
Founder of Ceri Design

What is sublimation?

Put simply dye sublimation enables you to print whatever you like, however you like, directly into the fabric. Solid colours, graduated colours and even photographs can be dyed into the fabric. This printing technique uses the combination of heat and gas. When the plain material is added the temperature climbs enabling the pores to open in the fabric and the dye sublimation ink is immediately transformed into gas. This allows the gas to permeate the fabric.

Once the heat is removed the sublimated ink will turn back to a solid form, allowing the pores in the fabric to close leaving the ink embedded directly into the heart of the material. Dye-sublimation is the latest advance in permanent printing, just like a tattoo, the ink actually impregnates the fabric, making its effect permanent and therefore unaffected by washing or ironing.

Please note, while we work hard to get the finished item as accurate as possible, the colours or brightness on some mats may vary slightly from what is visible on screen. There are 2 reasons for this; 1) All screens are calibrated differently whether your using a monitor or mobile device, and colours may appear different on these. 2) Sublimation is a chemical reaction and the results can vary slightly depending on the day the item is made.
